The Green Capital year is created together with operators from Päijät-Häme!
The diverse programme is full of events, new innovations, artistic productions and
development projects that promote the smooth everyday life of Lahti residents and highlight
the pioneering role of the region’s actors.
The European Green Capital Lahti – supports small and large environmental projects in the Päijät-Häme area. Get involved in a project that implements at least one of the four themes of the Green Capital – carbon-neutral life, participation, circular economy, nature and water.
By means of funding, we invite all actors in the Päijät-Häme region to build a common environmental capital. Projects in the fourth round of funding available in January.
